4 Common Jet Ski Rental Questions

We love our jet ski rental customers who do their due diligence. You read through the policies thoroughly and call with questions. In case you, too, are a “know before you go” type of person, we at Beach Water Sports want to help answer some common questions.

1. How old do you have to be to rent a jet ski?

The minimum age to book a jet ski rental is 16 years old, and you must have a valid photo ID. Anyone under age 18 must have a signed waiver from a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years old. All jet ski drivers—no matter your age—must have a boat safety card, following an on-site safety course. Jet ski rental passengers do not have any age restrictions.

2. Do I have to make a reservation?

If you want to verify that a jet ski rental will be available to you, then go ahead and make a reservation. However, most days, advance reservations are not necessary, unless you’re part of a group requesting multiple jet skis.

3. How much does a jet ski rental cost?

You can book one of our jet ski rentals for a half hour to multiple hours. Rental rates start at $60 for the half hour and then $90 for the full hour. 4. What forms of payment do you accept?

Whether you carry cash or a credit card, you can rent a jet ski from either of our Beach Water Sports locations. Note that payment is required at the time of the rental.
