Can you believe we’re already thinking forward to spring? Whether you’re planning to whisk your kids away for spring break or you know that you’ll need a little R&R come April, the time to start planning your spring vacation is now! If your plans include a trip to sunny Florida, consider these five planning tips from our crew at
Beach Water Sports.
1. Create a vacation budget.
Before you start booking hotels or reserving
jet ski rentals, take a good, long look at your finances, and determine just how much you can afford to spend on spring break. Doing so can help you prioritize how you spend your time and money. Plus, you’ll return home without blowing through your bank account.
2. Dig for deals.
You can find all kinds of vacation packages, deals, and incentives out there from travel websites to individual proprietors. When you call to make a reservation, you can even ask if they have any special discounts for which you might qualify. It never hurts to ask!
3. Don’t wait to make reservations.
It’s no secret that many families and individuals travel to
Florida over spring holidays. What happens is that the demand often outweighs availability. If you wait too long, you could miss out on fun
boat tours or just the right rental car; you could also end up paying way more than you want for lodging and so on. Your best bet is to make the reservation early and guarantee you get what you need.
4. Look beyond the beach.
We love the beach. It’s in our name. However, many people come to Florida and just sit in the sun for a week without considering beachside activities that can make fun and exciting memories. Don’t become too much of a beach bum. Instead, consider renting a few of the following:
At Beach Water Sports, we offer all these and more. If your vacation brings you to the greater West Palm Beach area, look us up!
